Claudine Lim

first joined the Digital Impact Alliance in October 2017, shortly after receiving a dual degree in Public Diplomacy from the Maxwell School and S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University. In her role at DIAL, she helps shape and deliver Digital Principles strategies for communication and enables the digital development community’s capacity through the adoption of good practice and collaboration. She facilitates partnerships and promotes best practice standards between funders, implementers, governments and other actors in order to achieve greater collective impact.

Brenda Quiroz-Maday

Senior Manager, Digital Principles Training

Brenda joined the Digital Impact Alliance in July 2021. In her role, she designs and test sustainable business models and facilitates the design of an accredited Digital Principles Training network. Before DIAL, Brenda led complex multimillion-dollar programs as a contractor for the US Agency for International Development, the US Department of State, the International Finance Corporation and the German Corporation for International Cooperation.

She holds a Chemical and Industrial Engineering degree from the Instituto Politecnico Nacional (Mexico), an MBA from Georgetown University (DC) and is currently working towards her Doctoral in Education degree with Northeastern University (MA).

Nora Lindstrom

Advisory Council Chair

is an international development professional with over a decade of experience on three different continents. She is currently the Global Lead for Digital Development at Plan International, where she promotes the responsible use of technology and digital tools for advancing children’s rights and equality for girls.

Dr. Henry Mwanyika

Chapter Meetings Committee Chair

serves as PATH’s Digital Health Regional Director for Africa and supports government efforts to design digital health infrastructure. He has over 20 years of experience in the commercial ICT sector and the public sector and is a trusted advisor to governments across Africa.

Dr. Ronda Železný-Green

Training and Standards Committee Chair

is a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) changemaker creating systems to empower Black people, women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized populations in the technology and education sectors. Serving as a mobile technologist, trainer, and researcher, Ronda’s 15+ years of professional experience spans five continents and the public, private, and civil society sectors. Ronda is the Global Head of Training and eLearning at the Internet Society and leads the redesign and the strategic scale-up of external learning opportunities.

Sahil Tandon

External Engagement and Outreach Committee Chair

is a young public health and human rights advocate, and works with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation in India. His has a background in Public Policy and Economics, with a focus on Gender, Development and Human Rights.  Through his work on the intersections of Research, Strategy and Innovations, he has engaged across geographies, issues and stakeholders, and has contributed to the development and implementation of programs and resources for grassroots communities.

Krista Baptista

is the Senior Director of DAI’s Center for Digital Acceleration (CDA).  She is responsible for leading DAI’s digital portfolio and working directly with clients across verticals and clients including donors, private sector and foundations.  She is an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where she teaches Digital Development: Innovative Uses of Technology in Emerging Markets.

Liliana Fernandez Gomez

works for the National Planning Department of Colombia, where she provides technical inputs to the definition of key public policies, such as the digital government policy, the national strategy for digital transformation and artificial intelligence, a modernization plan for the national tax administration agency, and prospective research on emerging technologies.

Lillian Nduati

is an entrepreneur and technologist passionate about making technology work for social good. Lillian previously headed the United Nation’s Humanitarian Data Exchange Lab (HDX, Nairobi) Centre for Humanitarian Data, which brings together data from over 300 organizations.

Robert Opp

is the Chief Digital Officer at UNDP where he leads the agency’s digital transformation efforts. Robert began his career at Canada’s International Development Research Centre managing projects focused on peacebuilding in post-conflict countries. He served in WFP in the organization’s Angola operation, managing emergency food aid assistance programmes within a $260 million operation that reached over 1 million internally displaced persons affected by civil war; and as Chief of Policy and Administration within the Executive Director’s office in Rome.
